The Spirit of Thanksgiving

Did you know that cultivating a spirit or lifestyle of gratefulness, appreciation or “counting your blessings” daily can literally create health and long life for you? It is well documented by studies conducted in the medical, scientific and psychological fields as well as in the areas of business, social and relational. Being thankful will boost our immune system and increase blood supply to our heart and other vital organs. It increases alertness, enthusiasm, energy and improves sleep. It triggers hope, inspiration, creativity and encouragement and dispels depression, anxieties, anger and fears. People who maintain a grateful lifestyle tend to suffer less stress and we all know how destructive stress can be on our bodies, minds and souls. Being grateful and counting our blessings, even when the circumstances are not ideal, is therapeutic in every facet of our life and causes us to attract other positive things such as opportunities, favor, success and productive connections that we may not have had otherwise. It is an invaluable health and anti-aging regiment to follow. Wealth is also attracted to the spirit of thanksgiving. So many great reasons to be continuously thankful.

I am thankful for the amazing family and friends I have. I truly appreciate all the wonderful volunteers and donors that graciously support the vision and programs of JJM. Each of you have made priceless contributions into my life. I count my blessings daily and recognize the extraordinary life I am blessed to live. I live abundantly, full of purpose and in divine health. Thank you, from a sincere and grateful heart. I am most thankful for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my center, my foundation and my source of abundant life.

Thanksgiving Blessing:

“May you and those you love be filled with joy and thankfulness that will bring health and wealth to you. May new hope spring up in you and grow to overflow. May new opportunities and unusual favor come your way as you open the doors with your spirit of thanksgiving. May you be reminded daily to count your blessings and show love and appreciation to those around you. May the goodness and mercy of God follow you all the days of your life and may your life be transformed by His unconditional love. In the name of Jesus, I ask and receive it.”
